    Hi all!
    Could anyone please tell me whether it is possible to make the following: when a text file is opened, the encoding is selected which was previously selected for this file. It requires some kind of caching — the editor should keep track of recently opened files and their encodings. This is very important for those (like me) who have half of files in one code page, and the other half in another (e.g. Russian files in Windows are typically in CP-1251 and in Unix-like systems are in KOI-8R).
    Maybe a plugin or macro could serve this purpose (then I may try to write it) or the editor core should be extended…
